Dashan is very popular with audience, ten years ago when he was only a student abroad, at a New Year Party,he became one of widely known "alien stars" because of his performance as a Chinese young man called Xu Dashan. Nowadays,"Dashan" has been the most familiar to all,but few people know his original English name.More than a decade, the domestic audience have always seen him at different parties and ceremonies,either on the same stage with famous Chinese comic actors ,or as a host fluently switching between Chinese and English.Especially in new year,Spring Festival,if Dashan doesn't show on TV,the masses will be still concerned about him.This time he returned to Beijing from Canada in a hurry ,so that he would be the host at Spring Festival Gala.
