Today, I climbed a mountain not far from our city with my friends to celebrate the new year. We met at the school gate very early in the morning. Then we took a bus to the mountain. There were many people there. The mountain was tall, and it took us half a day to reach the top. My friends were a great help, and we encouraged each other whenever we wanted to give up. Although it was challenging, we eventually made it. It was indeed a nice and wonderful day!

I've been resting for a week, and I started to feel bored. So, I went out with my friends, who are my best middle school friends. We didn't go anywhere special; we just spent time together. We had lunch together and chatted about our new school and friends. Yes, a year has passed, and we have matured. We've learned a lot and have gained new experiences. We don't have enough time to play around, waste, or lose our way. We only have two years left. In these two years, we will step into the real life that belongs to us.
