By the time 是这样用的：By the time I finished eating, he was already asleep.（当我吃完时，他已睡着了）。要将来时是‘by then’， 如by then， I will have become a teacher， 到那时我会已是一名老师了。
By the time， I will seek you不对。建议改为when the time comes，就是‘等恰当的时候到后’。 追求（男女追求）也不该用seek（找），该用pursue．如果是求婚是seek your hand，光seek you不可以。
